Annie & Kevin - Anniversary portrait session - The Donovan Sudbury

Annie and Kevin came to me to book a couples session. It was going to be an anniversary present from Kevin to Annie. He booked everything for her, hair, make up and then a party afterwards.  I thought that it was such a sweet gift. As it turned out he decided to do it for her because she hadn’t liked any of there wedding photos.  Everytime I hear someone say that they didn’t like their wedding photos it breaks my heart.  Yet it is probably the thing I hear most often from people about their wedding. “It was great but I wish I had better photos”  

I asked them if there was somewhere special to them somewhere that they had in mind for their photos.  They immediately came to the conclusion that the Donovan was the place for them, so we ran with it!

I had so much fun with these guys, Annie’s sarcasm and Kevin’s self deprecating humour had us all in stitches for the entirety of the session. We found a little slice of nature in the city and then went on to fully utilize the cool feel of the Donvan.
